Purple Disco Machine Returns To Australia This April

There’s no doubt that Purple Disco Machine is the hottest house act on the planet today and he is ready to fire off massive club hits as he returns in Australia this April. He is set to bring houses down in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart.

As the inventor of the “Deep Funk” sound, he is well-versed in bringing life to the dancefloor with his funky bass lines and sexy vocals. Mixing disco, nu disco, funk, house and deep house all together, he has released on all the major house labels including Exploited, Kittball, Still Vor Talent and Get Twisted, and teamed up with the likes of Robosonic, the legendary Faithless and Teenage Mutants (whose collaborative track “Little Treehouse,” was named one of the most Shazamed tracks of Summer 2014).

For Purple Disco Machine, clocking the top 10 on Beatport is something not unusual, with his classic remix of Hercules & Love Affair’s “Do You Feel The Same?” receiving recognitions from across the board, and “My House” placing in the Top 10 of the highest selling tracks in Beatport’s history. With his Tank Drop EP released at the end of last year, Purple Disco Machine has shown no signs of slowing down. Recently named the 3rd highest selling deep house act on Beatport behind Andhim and Claptone, now is the time for Purple Disco Machine!

In 2009 the project Purple Disco Machine was founded. In June 2013 he released his first track on Off Recordings: “My House”. The PDM hype rose to a new level in the summer of 2013 and the success of this track changed a lot for the career of the artist: The track stormed Beatport and landed at #1 on Beatport Deep House and overall #3 at peak and remained in the Deep House Top 100 for one year! “My House” is in the Top 10 of the most selling tracks in 10 Years Beatport history just one year after release!

With his following EPs Move or Not and Funk, Purple Disco returns to Off Recordings at the end of 2013 with yet some more dancefloor destroying funk, and to dominate the Beatport with each track reaching the Top 20 charts. As a result, he now has a fullly-booked DJ-gig sched with shows covering Europe, Asia and India. Another big collaboration started with his Off-Label buddy Teenage Mutants. The first strike came in January with “People” on the Light My Fire label. For the 5 Years Off Recordings Compilation they smashed again with deep monster track called “Little Treehouse” becoming one of the most shazamed tracks in Summer 2014.

Officially announced as Suara Summer Hit 2014, the track is played out at lots of parties all around the globe, has reached Beatport overall Top 10 and is now signed by Sony Music for a re-release. PDMs latest Musique EP on Off Recordings proves that he is not a one-hit-wonder and can sustain his burgeoning success.
