If you are entering the competition, the good news is you will receive a free three-day pass to the show when you drop off your entry.

If you and your friends want a real giggle, take a snap standing on top of the huge wedding cake created by one of Australia’s top wedding cake designers, Faye Cahill and her amazing team. The myriad of photo props will have you in stitches!

Learn and be amazed while roaming the 90 pop up shops each holding their own demonstrations and hosting celebrity chefs and cake artists. Once you purchase your show ticket, everything except the full and half-day hands on workshops are free.

‚ÄčIf you want to start your cake decorating journey or upgrade your skills, the hands-on workshops are your chance to be trained by the best in the industry. Everything is provided. At the end of your workshop, you’ll take your own masterpiece home to stun your friends and family.

International Cake Show Australia CEO, Joan McDermott said the event was set to become a new cultural tourism attraction for Australia, a brilliant cross between food, design, colour and competition. “The International Cake Show Australia is open to the public and is all about creating magic, defying possibilities and breaking boundaries. For the millions who watch Cake Boss and follow the hundreds of thousands of edible artists on social media, this event is the penultimate experience, and to have it staged here in Brisbane as the national showpiece is certainly a coup for the city,” she said.

So if you’re looking for some sweet indulgence while learning new things, International Cake Show Australia is the place to be!
